Wow, where has the year gone?!

The end of the year is rapidly approaching, which brings about a very busy time for us in 6th grade.  In addition to STAR testing, we will also be giving the Jr. High assessments to help place your children in their math and language arts courses for next year.  We also have a lot of end of year activities planned, check the important dates page for details.

Right now your student should be working on their biography presentation.  Students will present next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Your child is also going to be working on their final research report of the year.  They will be researching a topic of choice in ancient Greece or Rome.  Check with your child for the guidelines.  Reports are due May 26th.  We will be finishing up the year reviewing math concepts from the 1st and 2nd trimesters and reassessing when needed.  If you have any questions, please let me know!
